A brand new video showcasing some direct multiplayer footage from the Halo 5: Guardians online mode is now available. It confirms that the announcer's voice as well as a few other mechanics have been tweaked since the beta that took place at the beginning of the year.

Halo 5: Guardians is set to arrive this October, and developer 343 Industries has not only showcased plenty of different videos, screenshots, and even an actual multiplayer beta, but it's also shared plenty of different details.

After hearing about the campaign and the all-new Warzone multiplayer experience at E3 2015, the studio is preparing to share fresh information at Gamescom 2015 later today.

Until then, a fresh direct gameplay video has just surfaced online, depicting some competitive Slayer action on the Fathom arena map in Halo 5: Guardians.

The footage runs at a 60fps framerate and at a 1080p full HD resolutions and the whole video feels quite impressive.

It also confirms that the announcer's voice has been tweaked in a few different ways, as opposed to the beta, while medals have also been eliminated from the multiplayer action.

You can expect to hear and see much more of Halo 5: Guardians later today, during Microsoft's own Gamescom 2015 press event.
