Playing FIFA 16 and Might & Magic Heroes VII

I suspect a football fan can easily spend all their gaming time for one year playing FIFA 16, immersing themselves into its various modes, trying to improve their overall performance, constantly working to create the best possible Ultimate Team first eleven.

I am continuing to play the football sim from EA Sports this weekend, mainly the Career Mode, but I will probably try and limit my time with it in the coming months because it is so easy to become engaged and eliminate other titles from one's schedule.

FIFA 16 benefits a lot from its polish level, even if on a mechanical level, Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 might have a slight edge, and I have recently spent hours just sampling the training modes and trying to see how they might help me improve my multiplayer game performance.

When I am not trying to lead Liverpool to virtual victory, I will be playing some more Heroes of Might & Magic VII, mainly because it is part of a series that in many ways defined my childhood.

I loved the second game in the series, mainly for the tactical puzzles that it delivered, and then spent years playing the third one.

This seventh full Heroes of Might & Magic experience does not deliver the same impressive gameplay and cool story, but I like how the developers are aiming to improve some of the core mechanics.
