The development team at Arkane Studios and publisher Bethesda have not offered too much information about Dishonored 2 since the game was officially revealed, but a new video might signal that the companies will talk about the core ideas powering it soon.

The footage has Harvey Smith, one of the co-directors working on the experience, explaining some of the secrets of the original reveal trailer.

The big revelations are that everything shown in the Dishonored 2 trailer can actually be achieved by the player in the video game, which means that the main characters will have some cool new moves to try out.

The new clockwork soldiers will be some of the toughest enemies in the sequel, designed to see both in front and behind and powered by imported whale oil, with the aristocrats using them as guards for important targets.

Other opponents will be made of wood and will have a head that resembles that of a bird, with a powerful beak.

The action of the new title in the series is set a short while after the events of the first and will focus on Emily Kaldwin and her quest for revenge, although gamers will also be able to use Corvo Attano and his unique skillset to deal with challenges.

Dishonored 2 will be offered on the PC, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One and should arrive at some point in 2016.
