The development team at From Software is announcing that it will be taking the servers for Dark Souls 2 down for maintenance starting at 4 AM Central European Time on Tuesday, August 11, on the Xbox One.

The official announcement states that the title will be down for about one hour, but it's unclear what kind of tweaks the company is planning to make.

If an actual patch is delivered, then the tweaks will be revealed once Dark Souls 2 goes back up and From Software will update players if it needs more time to work on the title than the one hour that has been announced.

At the moment, the studio has no plans to deliver more content for the title, but it is still supporting it in order to make sure that gamers can continue to enjoy the experiences that it has to offer.

From Software is currently working on Dark Souls 3 and plans to launch it during the first few months of next year on the PlayStation 4, the PC and the Xbox One, introducing a range of new ideas to the series.

In the meantime, the company is also planning to introduce more downloadable content for Bloodborne, the title that is only offered on the PlayStation 4.
