Sega has just released a brand new video introducing the world of upcoming PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 exclusive action-adventure game Yakuza Zero.

The video, weighing in at a healthy 20 minutes, delivers a ton of information on the upcoming title, which will serve as a prequel to the main series.

Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama talks about various aspects of the title and introduces some cutscenes featuring characters from the previous installments in the popular series, seen in their younger days.

In addition to this, the video also casts a revealing light on some of the minigames that players will be able to enjoy while engaged with Yakuza Zero, including a UFO Catcher minigame, a pretty big hit in arcades all around the world.

Yakuza Zero was unveiled during last year's Tokyo Game Show, where Sega revealed that the action would be set in 1988, during Kazuma Kiryu's formative years.

Yakuza Zero is scheduled to hit the PS3 and PS4 home consoles in Japan on March 12. For the time being, Sega has not announced if and when western gamers will be able to get their hands on the upcoming entry in the series, but Yakuza 5, the 2012 PlayStation 3 game, will make the jump sometime during Q3 2015.
