The team at Microsoft is announcing that the entirety of the NFL draft that takes place over the next three days will be streamed live on the Xbox One home console and will come with a range of new features that allow fans of the sport to stay updated even if they want to play a game or enjoy other content.

The Xbox Wire states, "You can snap the draft tracker and get instant updates on the picks. When your favorite team is on the clock, you can switch right back to the live experience to see who they pick."

The company is also introducing new community polls for the NFL Draft in order to showcase their knowledge, and the console also offers a My Team section where gamers can see video highlights and predict how their favorite outfit will perform.

Microsoft has also created an Xbox-specific Path to the Draft set of features that allows fans to see how the most important players have performed in the lead-up to the current selection phase and then select their favorites for their fantasy teams.

The NFL App on the Xbox One is one of the ways the company is seeking to make its home console more than a simple gaming device.
