Larry Hryb, aka Major Nelson, the main communication liaison at Microsoft for the Xbox One home console, announces that his team is creating a new weekly show for all those who use the device and want to get more information about it.

This Week on Xbox is designed to deliver the most recent news, details about game releases and other details about the evolution of the platform.

The first episode is now launched and can be seen on Xbox One or on the official YouTube channel, with new episodes set to be introduced every Friday.

Hryb also invites all gamers to offer their feedback in order to make sure that This Week on Xbox is improved in the coming weeks.

The number of video games and other types of content launched on the Microsoft home console is continuously increasing, and a weekly recap show can be a good and fast way of delivering info to players who might not follow any other gaming-focused news outlets.

At the moment, the Xbox One is still lagging behind the rival PlayStation 4 from Sony when it comes to both overall sales and the amount of units delivered to players each month in most territories.
