After having released yesterday a short system software update for the Xbox One platform, Microsoft now confirms its changelog, detailing the different bug fixes included in this new firmware version 6.2.12998.0.

The Xbox One has received a wide variety of improvements and new features via monthly firmware updates ever since its launch. Microsoft isn't letting up now, as the corporation is currently working on the big June system software release.

Until then, it rolled out yesterday a smaller update designed to fix a few bugs and make some behind-the-scenes tweaks.

The official changelog is out now, via Dualshockers, confirming that the firmware has improvements to multiplayer issues across a few titles, not to mention some tweaks to the party chat mechanic.

The Xbox One, through the new firmware, now supports the 10-bit HD High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) system, which should help streaming apps like Netflix use lower bandwidth when outputting HD quality videos.

Last but not least, the console should no longer encounter issues when trying to install disc-based bundled games.

You can check out the full changelog below and expect the proper June firmware update to appear for the Xbox One later this month, most probably at the Microsoft E3 2015 press conference that takes place on June 15.
