Video game developer Blizzard is announcing that a new major patch for World of Warcraft, labeled 6.2, is at the moment live in the Public Test Realms of the MMO and invites all those interested in testing the changes to copy their characters to the test client.

A full list of all the changes that it makes to the game can be seen by clicking on the button at the end of this blog post.

A new zone will be the main feature of patch 6.2 for World of Warcraft, with gamers able to explore the invasion of Tanaan Jungle.

A new raid is also being introduced for the MMO, and gamers will also have access to naval missions and shipyards for the first time.

Tweaks are also being made to the character classes of World of Warcraft, and a Mythic difficulty level is being introduced for dungeons.

Blizzard is not saying how long it expects patch 6.2 to stay on the PTR before it is released to the general public, but fans can probably expect to get access to it before the end of May.

World of Warcraft remains the only major MMO that can still rely on a subscription model in the long term.
