A gameplay trailer from the upcoming Dragon Ball Xenoverse has just made its way to the Internet, showing some of the fast-paced battles that players will be able to enjoy next year.

The trailer shows in-game footage of some of the deadliest fights in the game, Gohan versus Buu and Super Saiyan 2 Gohan versus Cell. It features a lot of punching, teleportation, and of course, magic lasers firing all over the place.

The game will enable players to explore an entirely original story set in the Dragon Ball universe, allowing them to create their own character and then save the world by traveling back in time, in order to alter the events that led to a catastrophic event in the future.

Players will be able to select one of the series' main characters as master, and they will gain access to a range of special attacks and costumes, depending on their selection.

The game features extensive customization options, including the selection of multiple races, the ones available being Majin, Saiyan, Earthling, Namekian, and the race Frieza belongs to.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is coming out on February 5 in Japan, February 13 in Europe, and February 17 in North America, headed to Windows PC, Playstation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
