The video was created to promote the game in Asia

Sony Computer Entertainment has released an intriguing new trailer for the upcoming The Order: 1886, the PlayStation 4 exclusive action-adventure video game.

The live-action trailer is done in a manner similar to many other promotional videos released in Asia, crafted to become viral.

The video shows a news crew reporting that some workers dug up what looks like a set of human remains, somewhere in London. The remains, upon closer scrutiny, turn up not to be human, but instead those of a werewolf, dated back to the Victorian era.

It just so happens that The Order: 1886, Ready at Dawn's upcoming cinematic action-adventure video game, is also set in that time. The video is part of a marketing campaign, but it was realized with great attention to detail, with the BCO News logo, background and animations seemingly inspired by those of BBC News.

The skeleton looks quite realistic, and SCE mentioned that it had been created with the collaboration of Takayuki Takeya, a well-known Japanese artist and action figure creator.

The game follows an ancient order of knights fighting against deadly supernatural monsters, trying to protect mankind from their viciousness.

The Order: 1886 is scheduled to come out on February 20, 2015.
