You’d better start boarding up your windows. Sony Online Entertainment is getting ready to release the massively multiplayer online survival game H1Z1 on Steam Early Access.

The developer has published a series of videos ahead of the launch, showing various livestreamers having fun in the game, to serve as an introduction for those who are on the fence regarding joining its community.

The company has made sure to warn potential players to stay away from the game if they want a polished experience, as H1Z1 is incomplete and buggy for the time being.

SOE is launching it on Early Access in order to enable the community to experience the game as it goes through its development process and to get involved in the title's evolution.

H1Z1 seems to be getting a ton of developer support, and a budding community is already gathering around the title right out of the gate, which means that Sony Online Entertainment's game might actually stand a chance against the mammoth that is DayZ.

You can check out the videos below and a few more on the H1Z1 YouTube channel, showing quite a bit of gameplay from the title's current state. The videos are, of course, compressed, so the visual quality isn't accurately reflected, but you can get a pretty good picture of how H1Z1 plays so far.
