Video game developer Crytek is announcing that it is launching a new set of maps for its free shooter Warface, under the name Operation Endless Skies, which allows fans to travel to Africa in order to face a range of new challenges.

Blackwood is once again the enemy and the five new environments are designed to accommodate the biggest cooperative moments the game has received since launch.

Overboard features the coat and a cargo ship battle, and gamers will then have to explore Jungle Law and its hidden traps before moving to Deadly Dam and a fight for higher ground.

The cooperative mechanics of Warfare have been improved to allow players to coordinate their moves and take out more powerful enemy forces.

Hollow Science features a cloaked lab, and finally, the Coliseum is built around an ancient relic.

The new update for Warface also introduces a new map for the Capture the Flag mode, called Breach, which features barricades and a battle to take control of a briefcase.

The development team at Crytek is also adding a new version of the Safe House area, where gamers can get items and test their skills before heading into battle.

Warfare is at the moment the main project for the studio, which is rumored to also have a big deal with Amazon.
