War, the Game made it to Steam less than two weeks ago and developer GabberGamers has been hard at work to patch all the issues reported by players.

The most recent update for War, the Game brings a new sandbox scenario called Turmoil. Update 5.7 is already live on Steam, so those who own the game should see it being automatically downloaded on the PCs.

The sandbox scenario contains 12 nations that are scattered all over the globe and your only objective is to end up on top of them. Veterans and newcomers alike will find the new tutorial more streamlined and easier to follow.

Some bugs have been fixed as well, such as the random crashes that some players experience at a certain point in a scenario. Also, the game now runs as it should in 3840 x 2160 resolution.

Last but not last, all the issues with the save games should be fixed now, including the problem that would not allow players to load a save game if their Windows username has non-Latin characters in it.

War, the Game is now available for purchase on Steam for only €9.99. If you're not convinced that this strategy game is really worth your time and money, then you should check out our in-depth War, the Game review.
