Valve has just uploaded a brand new headset outline to its Steam Universe community group, showcasing what might be the final design of its recently confirmed SteamVR device, which is quite different from other similar objects like the Oculus Rift or Project Morpheus.

After many different rumors and other such things, Valve confirmed earlier this week that it was going to bring a SteamVR virtual reality headset at the GDC 2015 conference in March, not to mention new Steam Machines, the final design of the Steam controller, and other hardware.

Now, it seems that the official design of the SteamVR headset might have been leaked, as SteamDB spots that a fresh outline of a virtual reality head-mounted display has just been uploaded by Valve on the Steam Universe demo signup page.

As you can see above, the device is drastically different than the Oculus Rift DK2 or the Project Morpheus prototype from Sony.

It also seems that the three cables fitted on top of the actual display betray the fact that it's still in development but at least the outline offers a rough impression of what the SteamVR headset is going to look like.

Expect to hear something official from Valve next week, at GDC 2015, which kicks off on March 2 in San Francisco.
