Total War: Attila is set to be launched in less than 24 hours and the development team at The Creative Assembly and publisher SEGA are releasing a new video for the title, which is designed to show the community how a Legendary difficulty campaign looks for the Western Roman Empire faction.

Heir of Carthage is the player who tries to take the reins of the formerly powerful empire and guide it through the first turns as a range of barbarians are trying to take it down in the more than half an hour of footage that features both land and naval engagements.

The Creative Assembly says that Attila is at the moment set to be launched at 8 AM Greenwich Mean Time, which is the equivalent of midnight Pacific Time.

The new Total War title is designed to solve many of the problems the community has flagged in Rome II and were never eliminated.

At the same time, the game will focus on the decline of the Roman Empire and the way the powerful barbarian tribes around it, including the Huns, are trying to take advantage of its condition.

Fear, climate change, fire and horde mechanics will play a large part in the outcome of the battles in Total War: Attila.
