PS4 owners will get the update today, May 26

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt Red confirms that patch 1.03 is now available for download on the PS4 platform in European territories and a few other countries worldwide, while the rest of the globe should get it later today, May 26.

The Witcher 3 launched last week around the world for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms. Its debut was accompanied by two different patches, taking the title to version 1.02, which were available on all the aforementioned devices.

Since then, however, CD Projekt Red has released not one but two different updates for the PC edition, taking it to version 1.04.

Now, after going through certification, the patches are starting to appear on consoles.

First up, according to the official forums, is the PS4 version of The Witcher 3. Patch 1.03 is now available for download via the PlayStation Network in Europe and other PAL territories. The studio adds that the rest of the world should get the update later today, May 26.

A hefty changelog is also confirmed, showcasing the many different improvements included in the major update for The Witcher 3.
