CD Projekt Red confirms, after quite a bit of feedback from The Witcher 3 owners on PC and Xbox One, that a glitch is preventing players from getting experience in main story quests, no matter their actual level. Fortunately, a fix is coming soon in a future patch.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launched last week around the world across the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms. The role-playing experience is currently delighting plenty of fans, although some have encountered a few errors.

While CD Projekt Red has already released quite a few updates so far, the most recent patch 1.04 has brought forth a new glitch that prevents players from getting experience from main story quests, no matter their actual level.

The glitch, according to fans on the official forums, the glitch is present on the PC and even on the Xbox One platform, despite it not receiving just yet patch 1.04.

CD Projekt Red confirms that it's aware of the bug and that a fix is currently in development. As such, a future update should certainly rectify things.

Until then, those affected should focus on secondary quests, as they still offer the normal amount of experience, unlike the main ones that are bugged.
