Bad news for gamers expecting TopWare Interactive's next take on an RPG, as Raven's Cry has pushed back once again. The seafaring RPG featuring pirates and pirating is now being released on January 28, 2015, developers have confirmed.

Unfortunately, there's no telling whether or not TopWare Interactive will be able to launch the game next month, considering this would be the fourth time the game's release date is pushed back.

Raven's Cry was initially slated for an October 24, 2013, release but it was delayed into May 2014 and then November 27. Today, TopWare Interactive announced Raven's Cry is being postponed until January 28, 2015.

According to publisher TopWare Interactive, they were not “willing to rush things and make any compromises with this project,” which is why they have decided to give “this complex RPG adventure a little bit more time to make sure all the blades are nice and sharp.”

The good news is we're going to see some gameplay footage being released very soon, so we can get a glimpse at how the work on the game is progressing.

On a side note, TopWare also confirmed that the game would be available on Linux and Mac around the same timeframe. We'll be keeping an eye out for any additional details on this one, so stay tuned.
