Origin's On the House program has just seen a brand new title join it, in the form of the original 1993 Syndicate, a classic real-time tactical title made over 20 years ago by Bullfrog Productions.

Electronic Arts' Origin digital distribution service may not match up against Valve's Steam in terms of user count or popularity amongst gamers, but this doesn't mean that EA isn't willing to share some great deals with its customers.

By far one of the most interesting aspects of Origin is the On The House program, which offers some great old and new titles for a limited time for free to anyone interested in them.

Now, a fresh title is currently offered free of charge on Origin, in the form of the original Syndicate title that was released by Bullfrog and EA way back in 1993.

The game introduced a stellar cyberpunk real-time tactical experience that tasked players with guiding a team of mercenaries through all sorts of scenarios in order to take out rival corporations and assert dominance.

The game is still a joy to experience even today and it's currently free on Origin, so take advantage of the stellar deal as soon as possible. You can expect it to be replaced by another free game in the future.
