The story trailer shows some of the events that players will be able to witness while immersed in the action-adventure video game, and also highlights some of the title's gameplay features, and the seamless transitions between narrative exposition and player-controlled action.
The game looks fantastic and oozes atmosphere out of every pore, and the intriguing alternate Victorian background will surely appeal to a great number of gamers, blending steampunk elements with fantasy.
The action follows a secret order of knights tasked with safeguarding mankind in the centuries-old battle against savage halfbreeds, more beast than man.
Due to the advent of new technologies and the discovery of a miraculous mystical liquid that greatly extends lifespans and bestows remarkable healing abilities, mankind has a fighting chance for the first time, and the knights are determined to make it count.
Developer Ready at Dawn teased fans that there might be more games based on the same universe, as they put quite some time into developing it and it would be a shame for it to only be visited once.
The Order: 1886 is scheduled to come out on February 20 worldwide, exclusively on the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system from Sony.
