14 DAY TRIAL // Bethesda confirms that the first major expansion for The Evil Within, the latest survival horror title made by Tango Gameworks, is going to arrive on March 10 in most of the world, and in honor of this, a fresh gameplay video has just been presented.
The Evil Within launched back in October of last year and delivered a pretty intriguing survival horror experience from the mind of legendary Japanese designer Shinji Mikami.
The title is now getting ready to receive its first add-on, in the form of The Assignment, which focuses on the partner of main protagonist Sebastian - Juli Kidman.
The add-on explores more of the plot and allows players to learn the truth about her connection with Mobius. New enemies and gameplay mechanics are also included, but the conclusion to the adventure is going to arrive with the second expansion, called Consequence, later this spring.
The add-on for The Evil Within debuts on March 10 around the world across PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Unfortunately, European PS3 & PS4 owners will have to wait until March 11 to get it.
A third expansion, The Executioner, is going to launch later in the year. Until then, check out The Assignment's gameplay video below.
