Video game developer Tango Gameworks and publisher Bethesda are announcing that they will be launching the second piece of downloadable content for The Evil Within, called The Consequence, on April 21 on the Xbox One, the Xbox 460, the PlayStation 4, the PS3 and the PC, with gamers in Europe having to wait for one more day when playing on Sony devices.

The DLC is designed to allow players to see the conclusion of the adventures Juli Kidman is going through, with some cool new moments set to be introduced.

The short teaser the two companies are introducing for The Consequence suggests that the level of horror in the new content will be a little higher than in the first one for The Evil Within.

Bethesda says that it will have more info to share closer to launch date, and the game is set to receive at least one more piece of DLC, which will allow fans to experience the world from the perspective of one of the enemies.

So far, Bethesda has not said whether it is planning to turn The Evil Within into a long-term franchise, but the publisher states it has been satisfied with both fan reception and sales.
