The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited needs well over 50GB of space on the PS4 and Xbox One platforms, which means that players will have to download a day-one update that's around 15GB in size.

The Elder Scrolls Online is the massively multiplayer online role-playing experience set in Bethesda's huge universe, and like any proper game of this type, it requires a lot of hard drive space.

After confirming that The Elder Scrolls Online is getting a closed beta stage on the PS4 and Xbox One platforms, developer Zenimax now mentions on its website that a lot of hard drive space is required to run the game as intended.

Apparently, given its huge environments, the game occupies over 50GB in hard drive space. As such, besides the content found on the 50GB Blu-ray disc for the game's retail edition, those who get The Elder Scrolls Online on PS4 and Xbox One will have to download a day-one patch that's "somewhere in the region of 15GB," according to the studio.

As such, make sure you have at least 65GB of free space if you want to play The Elder Scrolls Online on PS4 or Xbox One when the game launches on June 9 worldwide.
