Wadjet Eye Games has released a brand new character teaser video for its upcoming adventure game Technobabylon, this time around showcasing Latha Sesame.

Technobabylon is a cyberpunk point-and-click adventure video game with pixelated visuals and a compelling old-school atmosphere, coming from the renowned makers of the Blackwell series, aiming to offer us an unforgettable journey through the future.

The company previously released a character trailer for Charlie Regis, an agent of the secret police that oversees the city.

Now we get to see a little more of the game's world from the perspective of Latha Sesame, a jobless agoraphobe who has become targeted for assassination. Addicted to the Trance, she suddenly finds herself facing the many dangers and pitfalls of the "meatspace," having to fight in order to survive her merciless fate.

The two characters revealed so far are two of the three that players will be able to assume control of when Technobabylon is launched. The action takes place in 2087, in a dystopian cyberpunk future where genetic engineering and omnipresent surveillance are commonplace, and the secret police is keeping tabs on everyone.

The game is developed by indie studio Technocrat Games and is set to release sometime later this spring.
