It looks like Capcom has once against entered a partnership with reputed peripheral manufacturer Mad Catz, looking to produce a new line of licensed FightSticks and FightPads for the upcoming Street Fighter V.

The next entry in Capcom's long-standing fighting video game series is scheduled to launch on PC and the PlayStation 4 home entertainment system from Sony next spring, and apparently, the peripherals will also debut at that time.

Mad Catz will manufacture FightPads, FightSticks, and Tournament Edition FightSticks for SFV, but for the time being, the company has not revealed what they will look like.

The company already has a line of arcade-style input devices custom-built for Capcom's Street Fighter games, and it has now signed a three-year deal with the video game publisher, in order to be featured as a premier sponsor of the Capcom Pro Tour, according to MCV.

In return, Capcom has agreed to make Mad Catz the exclusive controller sponsor for the eSports suite of events.

Street Fighter V is being created in Unreal Engine 4, but the game will maintain the same 2D-like nature that fans are used to.

Capcom has teased fans about the new and interesting storylines waiting for them, and has mentioned that a few fan favorites that have received a limited amount of attention in recent years will be back in the spotlight.
