14 DAY TRIAL // Developer Cryptic Studios and publisher Perfect World Entertainment are announcing that they are delivering a special Anniversary Event for the five year celebration of Star Trek Online, designed to run from January 29 to February 26, with some new content for gamers to enjoy.
A revamped story arc for the Romulan faction will be included, with an episode of narrative which includes Garrett Wang as Harry Kim and Denise Crosby playing Tasha Yar.
Star Trek Online fans will also be able to get access to improved ships, secondary deflector items, and updates for the bridge officer training system.
The developers are saying that “During Star Trek Online’s 5th Anniversary event you will be able to obtain Anniversary Q-mendations by participating in the event. These Anniversary Q-mendations can be spent on an Event Reputation project to obtain the Kobali Samsar Cruiser!”
Gamers need to get access to 1,000 Anniversary Q-mendations.
Since Star Trek Online was introduced, the team at Cryptic has expanded the game to include not only Federation ships and captains but also characters drawn from the Klingon and the Romulan Empires.
The MMO is free-to-play and the teams working on it say that it will continue to deliver more content and will expand on the Delta Rising storyline.
