If you haven't heard about Keen Software House's Space Engineers game, then it's your loss. The game was launched on Steam as an Early Access Game back in October 2013 and has been receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews since then.

You can imagine that developers have been working hard to keep players' interest in the game by delivering regular updates adding new features and improvements.

Space Engineers is a sandbox game that, as the name suggests, is about engineering, construction and maintenance of space works.

You can let your imagination run freely and build space ships and space stations of different sizes and utility like civil or military. You can even take control of these ships or conduct mining operations.

According to developers, the game users a “realistic volumetric-based physics engine,” which means that all objects can be assembled, disassembled, destroyed or just damaged.

The game now includes creative and survival modes, so you can choose the one that better fits your play style. The multiplayer aspect of the game is very important, though it's still in alpha.

You can play cooperatively and competitively with up to 16 players. Some privacy customization options are included as well such as offline, friends only, public and private.

Space Engineers is available for 50% off on Steam for the next 48 hours, which means that you can buy it for only €9.49 ($9.49).
