Dutch game studio Vertigo Games announces Skyworld, a turn based-strategy game created for the HTC Vive.

The video game developers aim to provide VR enthusiasts with a compelling strategic experience inspired by TBS classics.

The game is designed to take full advantage of HTC and Valve's new virtual reality technology, including the Full Room Scale 360 Degree Solution with Tracker Controllers on HTC Vive.

Players will assume control of an empire and do the usual turn-based strategy dance, with the significant difference that they will have to get up and walk around the battle map.

You will have to manage your kingdom's economy, create armies and lead them into battle, and even take control of powerful dragons, in order to emerge victorious.

The king's scepter offers you access to the most powerful magic in the world, and you have to make good use of it in order to restore your father's empire to its former glory.

The game offers a unique, immersive experience, and judging by the announcement trailer, it will provide a genuinely interesting way to interact with its world.

Skyworld is due out sometime later in 2015, to be launched on Steam, as both a Full Room Scale VR experience and a more conservative-seated virtual reality experience.
