A brand new report has just arrived online, potentially spoiling a big announcement from Microsoft at E3 2015. The corporation is going to confirm a Rare Replay HD collection, which includes remastered versions of classic games made by Rare, such as Battletoads, Banjo Kazooie, or Perfect Dark.

Rare is a veteran game developer that's been around for 30 years. The studio has had partnerships with Nintendo for a very long time, helping develop hugely successful franchises and titles, from Donkey Kong Country to GoldenEye 007, and many more.

However, after its acquisition by Microsoft, the studio hasn't been doing so well, being relegated to launch Kinect Sports titles in recent years.

Microsoft's Phil Spencer pledged to help Rare find its roots, and apparently, this initiative will see a Rare Replay collection be announced at E3 2015 later today.

This is at least according to a new report, via Kotaku, which includes a photo of GameStop's internal system. It hints at a Rare Replay pack, and specifically mentions Battletoads. This collection is apparently going to include HD remakes of classic Rare experiences for the Xbox One. From Battletoads to Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, or Jet Force Gemini, up to 30 titles might be included.

Expect a confirmation later today, at Microsoft's E3 2015 press event.
