Developer Slightly Mad Studios and publisher Bandai Namco have released a brand new trailer for the upcoming racing simulation video game Project Cars.

The new video, titled "The World Is Yours," highlights some of the multiplayer features of the racer, while at the same time showcasing the glorious visuals that we'll get to enjoy next month.

In Project Cars, users will be able to enjoy unfettered online multiplayer action, creating their own public and private race weekends and other tournaments. Players will be able to test their driving skills against people all around the world, seeing who can be the first one to cross the finish line.

The title focuses on delivering a realistic driving experience, and supports maddening resolutions of up to 12K on PC. The devs assure everyone that it looks and moves great on consoles as well, so it should give Forza Horizon 2 and Driveclub a run for their money.

The game includes a ton of unique locations and over 110 different courses, modeled after real world tracks, and you can check them all out on the Project Cars website.

Project Cars is slated for a May 7 release, headed to the Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms, with Nintendo Wii U and SteamOS editions coming out later this year.
