Gamers will use it when Project Morpheus launches

Gamers who are looking to pick up a new PlayStation 4 home console are now able to take advantage of an offer which gives them a free game, The Last of Us in its Remastered version, and can also pick up the PlayStation Camera without paying anything extra.

The offer is being introduced by Best Buy and gamers can take a look at the package on the official site.

Traditionally, the PlayStation Camera is sold by Sony for 60 dollars or Euro, which means that this is a great offer for those interested in picking it up.

The accessory might seem unnecessary at the moment because almost no games make solid use of it and there are just a few apps that include functionality related to it.

But the PlayStation Camera will become important for PlayStation 4 users when the Project Morpheus virtual reality headset is introduced in the first few months of 2016.

The camera will then be used to track movement and Sony might be using the Best Buy offer as a way of making sure that as many PS4 users as possible have access to one.

Rumors are also suggesting that more voice recognition elements will be added via firmware to the device.
