We already know that the Powers television series is coming to the PlayStation Store on March 10, but until now actual footage from the show was relatively scarce. Now, the team working on it at Sony chose to launch a new behind-the-scenes feature which touches on a wide range of topics.

Both Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming are included as they talk about the origins of the comics book they created and the way it has been adapted for the new format with the help and the resources Sony can provide.

Powers is set in an original superhero universe that does not conform to the classic rules of the genre, with the various characters behaving in surprising and interesting ways.

Sharlto Copley, Susan Heyward and Michelle Forbes are also featured talking about their roles and about the way they are shaping the characters they play.

Powers will deliver the first three episodes on the PSN Store on March 10 and another one will be introduced each week, with all of them offered for free to those who have a PlayStation Plus subscription.

This is the first TV show that Sony is creating in order to expand the audience of its home consoles and show how it can deliver an alternative to the entertainment coming from big TV networks.
