A brand-new gameplay video with the upcoming Project Cars racing experience coming from Slightly Mad Studios and Bandai Namco has just been released, this time showcasing the actual pit box system and the qualifying mechanic ahead of a big race.

Project Cars is set to deliver one of the most realistic racing experiences of the year and developer Slightly Mad Studios has worked really hard on the new game and wants to do everything right. As such, the title has already been delayed several times for maximum polish and optimization.

Now, in order to make up for yet another delay, Slightly Mad has just released a new gameplay video that highlights this time around, the pit box mechanic, from which players can have an overview of the qualifying procedure and configure their racing machine in a myriad of ways.

The video also features a great qualifying session in a single-seater vehicle, so it's quite worth it to get a glimpse at what racing in such machines will feel like in the upcoming Project Cars.

The new game is now set to appear on PC, PS4, and Xbox One in the middle of May, and you can bet that more videos will appear until then.
