The development team at EA Sports is announcing that it is delivering a new big player update for NBA Live 15, which is designed to make sure that the abilities of the teams included in the simulation are as close as possible to those in the real world.

All the trades that have recently taken place are included and the company has also worked with its partners to address the skills of the most important players.

EA Sports says that 65 player movement updates are included and that more than 700 ratings have been tweaked.

The studio claims that "One of the goals we have for the future of NBA Live is to remove subjectivity from player ratings and performance – a true 1:1 representation of each and every player in the league."

NBA Live 15 has not been a huge success on launch, but the development team at EA Sports is keen to use the title as a basis for a revival of its basketball simulation series and to challenge NBA 2K in the coming years.

At the moment, the game is offered in the Vault of the EA Access service on the Xbox One, which means that interested fans can play it for free if they subscribe.
