14 DAY TRIAL // NetherRealm and Warner Bros. continue to share impressive details about their upcoming Mortal Kombat X fighting game, this time bringing forth a story video that shows sequences of the plot from the title, not to mention three new characters that are descendants of other, iconic franchise fighters.
Mortal Kombat X was revealed to the world last year and is set to debut in spring. In recent weeks, however, developer NetherRealm has rolled out plenty of videos detailing the game's mechanics, its new and returning characters, not to mention its fresh modes.
After hearing about Kitana, seeing its Brutalities, or learning about its Faction War mode, the game has just received a video detailing its story campaign.
The plot of the new title takes place 25 years after the events of the previous game, and sees new characters descend from previous ones. Besides Cassie Cage, who's the daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya, the video shows Jacqueline Briggs, the daughter of Jax, Takashi Takeda, the son of Kenshi, and Kung Jin, a descendant of Kung Lao.
The video also confirms the return of classic characters like Mileena or Sindel, while hinting at more fighters.
