14 DAY TRIAL // Mortal Kombat X has just received a brand-new gameplay video, this time showcasing the whole Cage family, in the form of Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, and their daughter Cassie Cage, who all play a role in the fighting experience.
Mortal Kombat X launches this April and, so far, developer NetherRealm has confirmed quite a lot of different characters for its roster. Many return from previous games but there are also lots of fresh faces, such as Cassie Cage, the daughter of iconic characters Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade.
After a few rumors, and quite a few leaks, the game has now received a fresh video, showcasing fresh footage, while confirming the playable presence of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade.
Apparently, their relationship isn't the best but they are working together to accomplish something in the story mode.
"Introducing the Cage family - Sonya Blade, her ex-husband Johnny Cage and their daughter Cassie Cage - in a brand new Mortal Kombat X video that encapsulates their turbulent yet entertaining relationship and diverse fighting styles," the studio mentions about the video.
The video ends with a fantastic fatality from Johnny Cage, which is appropriately gory and references the Shining horror movie.
Expect Mortal Kombat X to debut on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One in April.
