Video game developer Mojang is announcing that it is now launching a small update for its hit Minecraft on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox 360, the PS3 and the Vita, with the changes rolling out now in Europe and coming in a little while to North America and Japan.

The company is offering separate change logs for all the platforms and gamers can take a look at them all in one location by clicking on the button at the end of this blog post.

There are no major tweaks made to Minecraft with the new update, which seems mostly designed to eliminate some loose ends before the game receives more content.

In the past few months, Mojang has been adding new skins to the game, offering them first on the Microsoft platforms and then on other devices.

The video game developer was bought by the industry giant last year, who says that it has long-term plans for Minecraft.

So far, no plans for a sequel have been announced, but a version of the game with some changes and enhancements will probably be introduced into the coming HoloLens glasses that will be delivered by Microsoft before the end of the year.
