Yesterday, an image from the Twitter account of a football team showed a head coach being face-scanned for the next installment in the American football simulation title, and today, EA Sports is ready to confirm that the process to digitize real persons for the coming experience is currently progressing well.

A new message from its official Twitter account shows the equipment being used to scan Dan Quinn, the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons.

Until now, the studio has made no official announcement about Madden NFL 16 and we do not know exactly when the title will be launched on the platforms on which it is set to be playable.

EA Sports is continuing to promote the Ultimate Team mode of the current installment in the series, delivering new players that gamers can use and talking about more events designed to keep fans engaged.

It's unclear what advantages in the face scanning tech are being used by the developers and how it will change how real world people are handled by the engine.

Madden NFL 16 will probably be introduced towards the end of August and that means Electronic Arts might make an official announcement about it, with new details about core features, in the coming weeks.
