The development team at EA Sports might be delivering new content for Madden NFL 15 every week, but the company seems to have already made significant progress on the next installment in the American football franchise, which will be introduced later in the year.

According to a Twitter message, which also includes a very interesting photo, the company is already scanning the face of athletes that will be featured in the game, like Gary Kubiak from the Denver Broncos.

The interesting fact is that he is a head coach rather than a player, and the fact that his face needs to be accurately represented suggests that there are more ways for the game to allow players to interact with team leaders.

Madden NFL 16 has not been officially announced yet and EA Sports has not explained how it plans to improve on the traditional formula of the series.

It might be the first installment to be launched only on the Xbox One, the PC and the PlayStation 4, or it will have an outdated engine on last-gen consoles.

Gamers will probably get a full range of details, including the role that head coaches will play, when E3 2015 rolls around in June.
