Widespread problems are prompting an investigation

The team at EA Sports is announcing that it is disabling the use of points for the Ultimate Team mode in Madden NFL 15 on the Xbox One home console and that it is currently investigating issues associated with them.

The information comes from the official Twitter account of the mode and it seems that the problems are widespread enough to prompt the company to basically cripple the entire system in order to find the cause and eliminate it.

It seems that a number of players have bought points for Madden NFL 15 Ultimate Team on the Xbox One and have not received them, which is a major problem given their importance and their price.

The company says that all those affected will get them once the problems with the mode are fixed, but no ETA has been announced for the moment.

The Ultimate Team mode in Madden NFL 15 might not be as popular as in FIFA 15, but the company needs to keep it in solid shape, especially now that the regular season is done and the company has launched a big push to make it more attractive, with new players and activities delivered on a regular basis.

If the issue persists, gamers might no longer be willing to play the sim.

Update: The developers are saying that coins are back on and that all those who lost some will get them refunded.
