The National Football League is at the moment on a break, but the development team at EA Sports is continuing to introduce content to the Ultimate Team mode in Madden NFL 15, with the newly added Final Edition upgrades designed to highlight some of the players who have contributed to their teams’ success but did not receive the required recognition.

The official announcement explains that “A Solo Challenge against the Final Edition Players unlocks a Collectible needed for the Set, which earns players a Final Edition Hero Reward.”

The first drop of Final Edition players for Ultimate Team includes:

- Alshon Jeffery from the Chicago Bears, who led his team in terms of receiving yards and touchdowns; - Fletcher Cox of the Philadelphia Eagles, with 61 tackles, four sacks, and three fumble recoveries; - David Bakhtiari from the Green Bay Packers, a solid choice for lineman; - Quintin Demps from the New York Giants, with four interceptions and a forced fumble; - Jonathan Banks from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

More such players will be added to the Ultimate Team mode for Madden NFL 15 every Wednesday for the coming weeks, as the studio in charge of the game continues to try and make sure that fans remain engaged with it even if Super Bowl XLIX is done and dusted.
