The development team at EA Sports is announcing that the Xbox One version of Madden NFL 15 is at the moment offered as a free trial for all interested gamers, as the American football fan world is getting ready for Super Bowl XLIX, which is set to take place on February 1.

The information comes from the official Twitter account of the series and the offer is only live until Monday, January 26.

Presumably, the trial version of the simulator offers access to all the features so that the community can test them out, but the company has not said whether progress can be transferred to a full version when it is purchased.

Madden NFL 15 has recently received a number of player ratings updates from EA Sports, all of them designed to show the way the real world teams have been performing in the last week.

The studio will continue to deliver Super Bowl XLIX content in the coming week and will also use the engine and detailed statistics in order to make a prediction about the final score and the performance of the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.

EA Sports is also offering weekly Team of the Week packages for Ultimate Team and other events and content drops for the sim.
