Iron Galaxy Studios has released an explosive trailer showing none other than the fiery Cinder in action in Killer Instinct, the Xbox One exclusive fighting video game.

The title is free to play for owners of Microsoft's latest console, with a free fighter being offered by rotation to those willing to try it out.

The developer has been steadily updating the title since it took over from its original makers, Double Helix, and now Cinder is ready to join the gang once more. Cinder, in his new imagining, is a human with a body composed completely out of plasma and flames.

His Killer Instinct Wikia page notes that, although in the original video game he used to be a dashing-rushdown character, he has now been designed as an aerial-dashing-trapping character.

Cinder will be joining the cast of Killer Instinct on April 30 for owners of Ultra Edition, and on May 6 for those who own the Combo Breaker Edition.

He will also be put on sale individually, just like all the other DLC fighters, so if you like his burning charm, you'll be able to get him as soon as he becomes available.

In any case, you can see some of his moves in the video below, and catch a glimpse of the next fighter to be added to the roster, Aria.
