Battlefield Hardline is also performing well

The Japanese video game market has been dominated this week by Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, which has managed to debut at the top of the software chart and has also been a significant factor in the solid sales of the PlayStation 4.

The Sony home console has managed to move 36,395 devices to its fans, which is a significant improvement over the 33,826 units of the previous week.

Meanwhile, the 3DS  has registered a drop in its own numbers and now stands at 28,704 for the period which ended on March 22, down from 32,088.

The PlayStation Vita has sold 21,562 units in one week, according to data from Media Create quoted by NeoGAF, while the Wii U stands at 7,595.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, created by Square Enix, has managed to sell 92,094 copies on the PlayStation 4 during its first week on sale and was followed by another new entry, Resident Evil: Revelations 2 from Capcom for the PS3, with 73,373.

The rest of the top ten includes: Battlefield: Hardline for the PS4, Resident Evil: Revelations 2 for the PS4, Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition, Yakuza 0, Battlefield: Hardline for the PS3, Phantasy Star Online 2 Episode 3: Deluxe Package, Mario Party 10, and PriPara & Pretty Rhythm: PriPara Detsuka Eruoshare Item 1450!.
