Yakuza 0 is leading video game sales in the country

The PlayStation 4 home console has once again managed to take over the number one position in the Japanese hardware chart for the week that ended on March 15, with overall sales that increased slightly to 33,826 units.

The 3DS handheld has slid into second place and has dropped more than one thousand units moved to gamers to reach 32,088.

The PlayStation Vita from Sony is also mostly stable at a little over 20,000 units sold, and the PS3 is at the moment a better performer than the Wii U home console from Nintendo, according to Media Create figures quoted by NeoGAF.

In one week, the Xbox One has moved just 307 devices to gamers in Japan.

The best-sold video game for the same period was Yakuza 0 from SEGA for the PlayStation 3, which has managed to move 145,823 copies to gamers as a new title and to also occupy second position with the PS4 version, which generated sales of 90,506 copies.

The last position on the podium was occupied by another new entry, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth for the PlayStation Vita from Bandai Namco Games.

The rest of the software top ten includes: Uta no Prince-Sama: All Star After Secret, Mario Party 10, Dragon Quest Heroes, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu: Korosensei Daihouimou!!, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D, Dragon Quest Heroes and Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 6.
