A couple of new gameplay videos and a variety of screenshots from the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta stage have just appeared online, showcasing the intense first-person shooter action in the upcoming test phase.

Halo fans are currently busy with the special yet glitch-filled Master Chief Collection on the Xbox One, but Microsoft hopes to get most of them into the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta, which kicks off in the following days on the console.

Until then, a special early glimpse at the test phase was organized in the last few days for a select number of people.

For those of you who didn't get a chance to check out the sneak peek, a few gameplay videos and some mighty impressive screenshots have appeared, via DualShockers.

As you can see below, both videos showcase the Slayer game mode, but each takes place on a different map, in the form of Empire and Truth.

The action is intense, to say the least, while the screenshots depict some pretty impressive visuals even for a beta version that has many months until its official release, probably in fall of 2015.

Check out the new videos and images below and look forward to the general launch of the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta on December 29.
