H1Z1 is currently selling pretty well on Steam, in spite of the fact that it's just an Early Access title, far from being complete and riddled with bugs.

Its creator, Sony Online Entertainment, was sold off to an independent investment firm three months ago and changed its name to Daybreak Game Company. The separation from Sony also meant that the team would be free to expand its business to Microsoft's home consoles.

And that's exactly what the company did, wasting no time in announcing that the upcoming massively multiplayer online survival game H1Z1 would also be coming to the Xbox One system, in addition to the PlayStation 4 and the PC.

During an interview with UTSanDiego, Daybreak’s CEO John Smedley has estimated that launching H1Z1 on Xbox One will raise its revenue by as much as 50 percent, citing various numbers that console publishers have released.

The company is known for creating solid online experiences, and with Neverwinter making its way to the Xbox One, it looks like owners of Microsoft's console will soon have a much larger array of choices when it comes to MMOs.

Daybreak currently has H1Z1 and EverQuest Next in its pipeline. It is also currently running DC Universe Online and PlanetSide 2, and the company intends to keep maintaining them for the foreseeable future.
