Rockstar Games confirms that it's aware of the graphics downgrade observed by fans in GTA 5 on PS4 and Xbox One after the latest update for the game and that it's investigating the problem in order to find a fix.

Grand Theft Auto 5 launched on the PS4 and Xbox One platforms back in November of last year and brought quite a lot of visual improvements over the experience that launched on PS3 and Xbox 360 in September of 2013.

However, the game's visual quality on the two consoles has taken a downturn, as highlighted in a recent video by a concerned player yesterday.

Rockstar has issued a statement about the graphics downgrade for GTA 5 on PS4 & Xbox One, confirming that it's investigating the issue and a fix should appear in the near future.

"We are aware of some graphical issues on the Xbox One and PS4 versions of GTA 5 after the most recent Title Update, and we are investigating a fix now," the studio says on its support website.

As such, it seems that the visual quality of the game on the new consoles will improve through a future update, although it's unclear when exactly that might happen.
