After a very lengthy wait, Visceral Games and Electronic Arts confirm that the first update for Battlefield Hardline on the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms is launching on April 28 worldwide.

Battlefield Hardline was released by EA and Visceral at the end of March and delivered a pretty intense first-person shooter experience that relied on the cops vs. criminals conflict and added a lot of fresh ideas to the core Battlefield recipe.

While the game didn't suffer from any serious problems like its predecessor, Battlefield 4, it still had some lingering issues, including errors on PC or general gameplay annoyances.

Visceral confirmed what would be included in the first Hardline patch quite some time ago and it went into detail more recently. Unfortunately, an actual release date was always missing from any communication.

Now, after a pretty lengthy wait, the studio confirms on Twitter that the first patch for Battlefield Hardline is coming on April 28 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. At the same time, the rent-a-server program is also debuting on consoles.

The update brings solutions to PC errors, but also team deathmatch spawn improvements, more tickets for conquest, tweaked weapons, and other such things.
